Dr. Katherine Beard is a proud Michigan native and passionate orthodontist dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan in 2013 and continued her education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she completed both her dental degree and orthodontic residency. Dr. Beard is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, and a member of the Charles Tweed Foundation. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients while helping them achieve beautiful, natural smiles. Dr. Beard has extensive experience in complex orthodontic treatment, including surgical and craniofacial cases, as well as caring for patients who require individualized attention and specialized treatment approaches.

Beyond creating beautiful smiles Dr. Beard enjoys life with her husband, Ben, her high school sweetheart, and their four children - Theodore, Franklin, Abraham, and Margaret. Together with their family dog, Faye, they stay busy with family adventures, sporting events and activities. Dr. Beard also enjoys reading, running, gardening, and baking.
